My goal :
Lift truck to ---
1. add larger tires for better offroad capabilities.
a. I do not wheel for fun, but to get to the best camping sites.
2. Offload the constant 500-600lb weight in my truck bed

The looks come in as a bonus.

I am not looking to add a cheap body lift but would like to keep the cost down as much as possible. However, I do want to do it right... bump stops if I need them, etc...

Also, looking for a good shop or help to install. Someone or somewhere that knows tacomas well.

Thanks!

That’s a good shock, depending on what price range ya wanna stay in. Talk to Toytec lifts. They can hook ya up with exactly what ya need. They know toyota and do install lifts as well as alignments.

For the front that or any adjustable coil over is great. For the rear of you carrying that much weight go with Dakar HD pack or talk to alcan in grand junction and have a custom pack built for your exact needs and weight.

ARB -
BP-51 + OME full leaf pack replacement with overload.

On Road :
Awesome, almost like driving a low profile car, body roll is minimal!

Off Road :
I dont have a lot to compare it to but....
Washboard roads - soaks up the bumps like butter. I dont feel them
Slow rolling - rocks : feels to flex well and body stays stable.
