Upcoming APRS Balloon Launches

Edge of Space Sciences will be launching two balloons with multiple student experiments and EOSS beacons on board on Oct 15th from the Windsor, Co launch site. You can monitor the flights on the web with these links (the beacons will be active from ~7:30 to 11:30):
EOSS-230 will be 130 student experimental payloads (SPX) from Colorado Springs Schools:

You can also listen to tracking and recovery operations from the Denver area by monitoring the RMRL repeater on 449.450 MHz.
As always, any interested parties are welcome to come out and participate in the launch and recovery.

For our October 29th flight this weekend, we will be launching 3 balloons out of our Deer Trail, CO launch site. These will contain experiments from MetroState University students.

If you would like to follow the operations on your radio, Front Range Hams should be able to hear us on the Rocky Mountain Radio League 449.450 MHz repeater, Saturday morning ~6 am to Noon.
All EOSS flights are preceded by a radio net on the night prior to the flight, on the 147.225 MHz CRA Repeater (107.2 Hz Tone) 8 pm MDT preceding night. All hams are welcome to listen and check in.

Edge of Space Sciences has two upcoming launches in the next couple of weeks:
EOSS-237 will launch from Eaton, CO at 0830 March 4th 2017 with payloads from Eaton Middle School students. Call signs for this balloon are K0SCC-11 and AE0SS-11
EOSS-238, 239 and 240 are scheduled to launch at 0700 March 18th 2017 with payloads from:
