We'll continue the final chapter in the Wyoming journey where we had to bail early and abruptly end our trip outside of Atlantic City.Â
For those who have joined along in this Wyoming series over the past couple years know it's been an incredible journey so far!
Our primary objective is to complete the final segments of the Wyoming BDR to the border of Montana, estimated to be some 400mi.
It's an ambitious adventure so that's why this trip will include a few more days than the previous trips in hopes to give us plenty of time to make this an incredile finish to the final chapter of this journey. From around South Pass City we'll continue North through the Freak Mountains and into higher elevations, past Sand Hills near the town of Lander (among many other historic and eclectic towns) while we paralell the Bighorn Mountains. We'll pass through the historic area/town of Ten Sleep before meandering further into the remote Big Horn Mountains to make our way to the border of Montana. Then we'll head East back to the highway and South towards Denver.Â
Adventure is subject to change, and there's sure to be some interesting stops along the way!
Please ensure your vehicle is prepared and you're as self-sufficent as possible, we will be in very remote places of Wyoming.
Since the start of our trip is about 6hrs away, the plan for now is to use Saturday for most of the hwy drivetime and seek out camp early near the trailhead for the day so we can start fresh the following day (Sunday). For those interested in convoying to the trail head, we'll discuss a plan prior so we can travel together.
- Ticket price includes camping at a brewery campground with hot showers (This is our only hard deadline on July 2nd)
- We'll also plan a group dinner to celebrate 4th of July around the campfire
- Trip is limited to 8 vehicles to preserve the quality of the experience
Any other questions, please reach out to me directly via the website.
