----Trip Dates----

July 26-28th

----Trip Description----

The snow has finally melted in the high country and it’s time to set out on an all-new journey through Grand County Colorado. Last year we had so much fun on this trip I decided to build one more for the RMO crew.  You probably know about and have seen some of these trails I’ve selected for this trip, but almost surely, not all of them.

We will be starting our journey in Steamboat springs and heading East up over Buffalo Pass passing by the Grizzly Guard station. We will then be taking a rather unusual route heading due south, towards the city of Kremmling. Taking in fantastic views of Wolford Reservoir along the way. Kremmling will be our first of two planned stops for Fuel and/or Supplies. Then it’s back east, meandering our way through some of my favorite roadways in Grand County finding our way over to Stillwater Pass. Last year the pass was closed due to washout, so I’m excited that this is part of our route. I’ve put in a few unlikely twists and turns as we make our way over the pass into Grand Lake. This will be our second planned stop for Fuel and Supplies. Next, it’s onto a track twisting its way past Mount Chauncey and the White Cliffs before landing us all the way over in Fraser. This promises to be beautiful mid summers Overland Trip with some amazing views with some good old fashioned 4 wheeling sprinkled in.
