Weekend Warrior or Week-Long Wanderer?

Not everyone's calendar looks the same. Some of you can carve out a Friday-to-Sunday and call it good. Others are already counting down to the week you can disappear off-grid entirely. Good news — we've got a trip for both, plus one in between. Hope to see you out there!
Here's what's on the board so far:
The Weekend: San Juan Sky Islands
September 4–7 · Golden, CO · 9am start · Easy to Moderate
If you've never run a multi-day trip before, this is the one built for you. Four days, roughly 145–165 off-road miles, and a route through Colorado's Alpine Loop and San Juan Mountains that earns its name — Marshall Pass, Cinnamon Pass, and Corkscrew Pass all put you up above 12,000 feet, looking down at the rest of the world like it's a different planet entirely.
This trip is guided start to finish, paced for newer overlanders, and built to teach as much as it explores — you'll leave with real mountain-driving instincts, not just photos (though you'll get plenty of those too).
Good for: First-timers, anyone short on PTO, anyone who wants a real taste of alpine overlanding without committing a full week to it.

The Weeklong: Fall Legends
September 12–19 · Intermediate
This is the full week lead by Trail Leader Brad Peterson, who runs this one point to point — roughly 500 off-road miles tracing Grand Mesa, the Rim Rocker, and Kokopelli country. It's a bigger commitment than a weekend trip, but the tradeoff is you get eight days of terrain variety, camp routine, and group rhythm that a long weekend just can't deliver.
Good for: Overlanders ready to step up from weekend trips, anyone chasing fall color and longer miles, people who want the full week experience without planning it themselves.

The Weekend: RMO Gear Swap & Tailgate Sale
Hosted by Brad & Justin - Saturday Oct 3rd @ 12 to 3pm
Every one of us has that gear pile. The roof rack you upgraded off of, the rooftop tent that's been "for sale eventually" for two years, the spare recovery boards, the fridge you replaced, the light bar that never quite fit right. Meanwhile somebody else in this crew has been eyeing that exact thing and putting off buying new. So let's fix that. On Saturday, October 3rd we're running a Gear Swap — tailgate style, starting at noon. Back your rig in, drop the tailgate, and lay out whatever you're clearing out. Buy it, sell it, trade it, or just talk shop about it. There'll be a free pile for the small stuff nobody wants to haggle over, which is usually where everyone ends up standing anyway. Music and snacks are on us. You don't need to be selling anything to show up — bring a chair, bring your stories, and come see what's on everyone else's tailgate

Whichever one pulls at you — a long weekend in the San Juans, a guided week through Fall Legends, the point is the same. To get out there together. We'll see you on the trail.
